Before AI can help a company,
it has to know the company.
That belief is why Cardinera exists. Most of what a company knows about itself lives in a few people’s heads. Cardinera is where it gets written down, kept true, and built from, by the people who run the company and by the AI that enables its future. In every company, not only the ones with architects and consultants.
The first step is not an AI strategy.
On a building site, the trades never need to meet. The blueprint tells each of them what the others will do, and the building goes up. A company’s blueprint does the same for its people, its advisors, and the AI agents it brings in. That is the blueprint Cardinera draws.
Every company already knows itself. That knowledge lives in the mind of the CEO, in the habits of a few long tenured people, and in daily routines nobody has written down: which tool does what, who is accountable for it, what it costs, what work would stop without it. It is real, and it walks out the door with the people who hold it.
Cardinera is where that knowledge gets written down. Not as a document that goes stale in a drawer, but as a blueprint of the company: the applications, the people, the work, the products and services, and the connections between them. It is kept current by the invoices and the directory the company already has, and it is written in the words of the person who runs the company.
That blueprint is the starting point for everything after it. From it, a leader manages what the company runs on: renewals caught before they lock you in, tools reviewed for what they still do, changes planned with an owner and a date. Large companies pay for this and call it enterprise architecture; the need is the same at any size, and only the apparatus differs. And from the same blueprint, a leader answers the AI question with a plan of their own: an advisor that already knows the company, the AI tools you choose reading the same picture, and a roadmap that evolves as the company and its AI do. When the board asks what you are doing about AI, that is the answer, and it is one any company can start giving this month.
Model. Manage. Ready.
- Model: the blueprint. One connected record of the applications, the people, the work, the products and services, and the connections between them, kept current by the invoices and the directory the company already has.
- Manage: from the picture. Know what you pay for, catch renewals before they lock you in, review what needs attention, and turn each decision into a plan with an owner and a date.
- Ready: AI that starts from your company. An advisor that already knows the blueprint, and a door for the AI tools you choose, reading the same records under the access you set.
Enterprise architecture models and manages. We built both for what they make possible next, and we measure every feature against one question: would the person who runs the company use it to make a decision?
Three rules we build by.
Facts, not transactions.
Cardinera holds the facts of the company and helps a person decide what to change. The advisor proposes, shows its reasoning, and says what it could not confirm. A person decides, and only a person’s tap writes.
The leader’s words on every screen.
A CEO says the finance function, not a capability domain. Every label, every empty state, and every answer from the advisor is written in the words of the person who runs the company, with any specialist term explained before it is used.
Told, never watched.
What the product knows, it was told, or it read from an invoice or a directory the company chose to connect. Named owners and a plain question keep the record true. That is the whole of how it learns.
The same question, first asked at home.
Cardinera began with a household and a simpler version of the question: what do we pay for, and what is each thing for?
Asked of a company, the same question turned out to be the beginning of its blueprint. Cardinera for Business grew from there, and it is where the company’s effort goes.
Founder led, by design.
Cardinera is founder led and independent, and that is deliberate. The people who build the product answer to the people who use it. Your data serves you, your workspace is yours to leave with everything in it, and the promise below is written down because we intend to be held to it.
Feedback reaches a person who can change the product that week. Write to hello@cardinera.com and a person reads it.
Written down, so you can hold us to it.
Six commitments, in plain words.
We never watch.
No login analytics, no browser extension, no desktop agent. A named owner and a question keep the record true.
You are never charged without saying yes.
Trials end with a question, not a charge.
Leaving is easy, and we help.
Export everything, any time. Cancel an annual plan and the unused months come back, prorated.
No spam after goodbye.
When you leave, we ask permission to check in later. No means no.
We ask, we listen, we fix.
Feedback goes to a person who can change the product that week.
We keep as little as possible.
Only what the product needs. Never a byte for “later”.
That is the whole promise.
There is a picture of your company only you can draw. Start it this month.
Bring in the software you already pay for. Connect it to the people who use it. The blueprint grows from there, and so does everything you can ask of it.
